Job summary

SPX Express in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to coordinate daily activities of drivers and sorters, delegate tasks, and ensure timely parcel delivery. You will monitor KPI compliance, maintain safety SOPs, and work with the fleet team to train new drivers.

Based in Saratok, Sarawak, the role requires leadership, strong communication, basic Excel skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment under rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sarawak under state law.
• Based in Saratok, Sarawak.
• Willing to work on rotational shifts with 45 hours weekly.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, SCM, Engineering or related fields is advantageous.
• Familiarity with postcodes, routing and mapping is beneficial.
• Experience in logistics operations is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Able to deal with ambiguous situations.
• Fast learner in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers according to headcount.
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor driver behavior and customer service level.
• Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection.
