Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead day-to-day activities across receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping. You will ensure processes run efficiently to meet customer requirements and drive performance improvements.

The role requires 5-8 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. You will manage manpower planning, staffing, and a diverse team while upholding stock accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5-8 years of warehouse or logistics operations experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits and reconciliation.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Ensure operational processes are executed efficiently to meet customer and business requirements.
• Monitor warehouse performance and implement action plans to achieve operational targets.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage capacity.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper inventory control practices and compliance with stock management procedures.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and operational staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of warehouse or logistics operations experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience managing large warehouse operations and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in 3PL, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, or retail distribution environments is preferred.
