Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior operations leader to drive end-to-end warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking and shipping, while ensuring KPIs and service levels for multiple customers.

You will develop warehouse strategies, oversee capacity planning, and lead a team of warehouse managers and supervisors. Strong WMS/ERP knowledge and data analytics are required to optimize inventory and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale warehouse operations.
• Experience with multi-customer or contract logistics operations preferred.
• Experience with automation technologies and warehouse transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and operational analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory control, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and returns management.
• Ensure operational KPIs are consistently achieved, including productivity, accuracy, SLAs, and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement warehouse strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, and operational scalability.
• Monitor daily operational performance and take corrective actions to address gaps and bottlenecks.
• Oversee warehouse capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory control processes.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain inventory integrity within WMS and ERP platforms.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives to improve stock visibility and accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and operational teams.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct regular operational reviews with customers to ensure service excellence.
• Manage customer escalations and drive timely resolution of operational issues.
