Job summary

DHL is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse activities in Malaysia. The role oversees receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping, ensuring efficient processes that meet customer and business requirements.

You will drive performance, optimize space, and maintain inventory accuracy while coaching supervisors and building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in warehouse/logistics with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed.
• 5–8 years of warehouse/logistics operations experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience managing large warehouse operations and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in 3PL, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, or retail distribution environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure processes are executed efficiently to meet customer and business requirements.
• Monitor warehouse performance and implement action plans to achieve targets.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage capacity.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain inventory control practices and compliance with stock procedures.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
• Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Drive employee engagement and foster accountability and teamwork.
