Job summary

SPX Express in Malaysia seeks a hands-on Logistics Operations Officer to coordinate daily delivery activities, delegate tasks to sorters and drivers, and ensure on-time parcel handling. You will receive inbound parcels, monitor driver behavior, and assist the fleet team lead with training where needed.

Candidates should have basic Excel skills, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sarawak based on state requirements.
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines advantageous.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on headcount.
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Assist the fleet team lead in deployment and training of new drivers where applicable.
• Monitor and report KPI compliance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and SOPs for in-hub parcel collection.
