About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Executive to join our team at our facility in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and distribution centre. As a Warehouse Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high standards of operational performance. This role is integral to our ability to deliver reliable and timely service to our clients, and offers the opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety protocols
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
• Oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper handling and organisation
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections to identify and address any operational issues or safety concerns
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, reports and records as required
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes to optimise efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Support the training and development of warehouse team members
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse
• Liaise with management on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or executive capacity
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics procedures
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management and supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in warehousing
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit
• SPM or higher qualification, with relevant warehouse or logistics certifications being advantageous
