Qualifications

• 2–3 years in warehouse management or similar logistics role.

• Good communication in English and Malay; additional languages advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications in logistics or warehouse operations preferred; forklift cert a plus.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse Executive to join our team at FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution facility. As a Warehouse Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily operations and achievement of performance targets
• Manage inventory control systems, including receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of goods
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure proper organisation and labelling of warehouse stock to optimise space utilisation
• Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards, health protocols and compliance with company policies
• Prepare warehouse reports on inventory levels, stock movements and operational metrics
• Liaise with logistics teams and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any shipping issues
• Train and mentor warehouse team members on best practices and operational procedures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency measures
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance activities

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience of 2-3 years in warehouse management or a similar logistics role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing and distribution
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting and moving goods
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse operations are preferred
• Certification in forklift operation or material handling is a plus
