Job summary

LAVU TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. invites applications for an Application Technical Support role focused on Unit Trust applications. The incumbent will provide Level 2 and 3 production support, handle enhancements, and work closely with users to resolve issues.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience, strong Java and Oracle DB skills, and be comfortable with Windows/UNIX/Linux, WebSphere deployments, and scripting. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in IT support for financial applications.
• Strong Java and Oracle DB skills with familiarity in Windows/UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with WebSphere deployments and Unit Trust domain workflows.
• Hands-on scripting on Windows and Unix; knowledge of MS-DOS helpful.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide system support and manage enhancements for Unit Trust application.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 production support.
• Investigate problems: root cause analysis, solution definition, implementation.
• Collaborate with users to understand needs and issues.
• Manage risks and propose improvements to mitigate them.
• Liaise with vendor on Scope of Work and fixes.
• Provide 24 x 7 on-call support.
