Job summary

Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam seeks a reliable truck/lorry driver to perform daily vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and on-time deliveries to customers. You will submit daily inspection records and report any truck issues to your supervisor.

The role requires at least 2 years of driving experience and a valid GDL licence with a clean driving history. Ensure trucks are kept clean, serviced on schedule, and that road tax and insurance are in order before departure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a truck/lorry driver.
• Possess a valid GDL licence and relevant driving licence.
• Good driving record with no serious traffic offences.

Responsibilities

• Truck checking and ensuring good condition every morning.
• Submit daily inspection form after inspecting the truck.
• Inform superior of any abnormal truck condition.
• Keep trucks clean and serviced on schedule per mileage.
• Confirm loading by Delivery Order and verify stock quantities.
• Ensure on-time delivery to outlets and report delivery issues.
• Maintain quality of deliveries at all times.
• Prepare trucks for Puspakom inspection every 6 months.
• Handle tasks assigned by the manager as needed.

1. Truck Checking

• To ensure all part being inspect with good condition every morning


• To submit 'Borang Pemeriksaan Harian Kenderaan' after being satisfied with the truck condition.


• To inform the superior if any abnormal condition on the truck.


• To make sure the truck is in a clean condition every day


• To make sure truck servicing is on time based on mileage or month (which ever come first for every 7000km)

4. Truck Inspection

• Make sure truck inspection is on time as well as road tax expiry

5. Loading/Unloading

• To confirm loading based on DO (Delivery Order)


• To make sure all stock delivered to customers is in the correct quantity.

6. On Time Delivery

• To ensure always on time to the assigned outlet.


• To inform the superior of any issue regarding delivery.

7. Preserving Quality At All Times

• To ensure every delivery we are preserving Quality at all times

8. Every 6 Month Tasks

• To ensure trucks are ready for Puspakom Inspection


• To make sure the truck has Road tax and Insurance before departure

9. Any Task Assigned By The Manager
