Texchem Group in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Finance professional to manage full accounting end-to-end and support the finance team with accurate records and timely insights. You will handle monthly close, financial reporting, cash flow planning and tax/compliance, while performing ad-hoc tasks to strengthen controls.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 3–4 years of relevant experience, solid MFRS/IFRS knowledge, Excel and ERP proficiency, and excellent English
To manage daily financial operations and support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and delivering timely financial insights. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on and responsible for end-to-end accounting processes.
Own and prepare full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and journals.
Perform timely monthly closing, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet schedules and reconciliation of bank accounts, inter‑company balances, debtors and creditors.
Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, and conduct financial analysis on customers to support business and credit decisions.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and quarterly reporting to the Group.
Perform monthly forecast, mid‑year forecasts, and support the annual budgeting process.
Monitor daily cash positions and perform cash flow planning and forecast.
Handle treasury functions including cash management and forex booking.
Liaise with banks on banking matters and facilities, as required.
Support the preparation of yearly company tax computation, transfer pricing documentation, and related submissions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Be involved in day‑to‑day operations of the Finance Department, handle invoice processing, payments, collections, and financial data entry to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Support finance process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements where applicable.
Support management and undertake ad‑hoc assignments as required.
