Job summary

PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD (PAC) is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver in Penang. The role involves daily truck inspections, safe loading/unloading, and timely delivery of goods to assigned destinations. You will park the truck at the designated lot, refuel and clean it, and report any issues to your supervisor.

Maintain a valid GDL license and uphold safety standards. Minimum 2 years driving experience is required; punctual, trustworthy and responsible individuals with a good attitude

Responsibilities

Inspect truck daily and report issues to superior.
Park truck at designated parking lot and oversee loading/offloading of goods.
Clean & refuel the truck regularly; transport goods to destination on time.
Adhere to traffic rules and company safety regulations; report accidents or delays.

Job description

To inspect the truck on a daily basis and report issues to the superior for next course of action.

To ensure that truck is parked at the designated parking lot.

To clean & refuel the truck on a regular basis.

To oversee the loading and offloading of goods.

To safely transport goods to the assigned destination on timely manner.

To adhere to the traffic rules and company safety regulations.

To look for quickest and safest route to the assigned destination.

To ensure all Delivery Orders and other related document are chopped signed by the receiving party before returning to the origin.

To ensure canvas is put on during raining day to avoid spoiling the goods.

To report any accident or delay to the superior immediately.

To conduct minor roadside repairs on the truck if required.

To maintain a good working relationship with customers.

To keep commercial driving license up the date.

Responsible for any traffic offences, summonses, fines, or penalties arising from their own driving misconduct or negligence while operating a company vehicle, subject to applicable laws and company policies.

To support store in performing packing of goods to meet the delivery timeline.

To perform any other duties assigned by superior or manager from time to time.

Job Requirements :
