Job summary

Exeo Global Pte Ltd is seeking a Customs Declaration Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to handle Malaysia customs declarations (K1, K2, K8, PKFZ) and related duties. You will gather documents, submit declarations, and ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years in customs, familiarity with Dagang Net, and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and coordination with shippers, agents, and authorities is essential.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Admin, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customs declaration, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and submitting Malaysia Customs declarations (K1, K2, K8, PKFZ, and other declaration types).
• Familiar with Dagang Net and Malaysia Customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Gather and verify required information and supporting documents for Malaysia customs declaration processing.
• Prepare, process, and submit import/export customs declarations in compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations.
• Ensure all declarations are accurate, complete, and submitted within timelines.
• Monitor declaration status and liaise with shippers, customers, forwarding agents, and customs system to resolve issues.
• Investigate and resolve declaration discrepancies by coordinating with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of customs declarations for audit and compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as assigned by the Team Lead.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Support the team in achieving operational KPIs, service quality, and compliance standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by Team Lead or Management.

• Prepare, process, and submit import and export customs declarations, including K1, K2, K8, PKFZ, and other relevant declaration types in compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations and company procedures.


• Ensure all customs declarations are accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timelines.


• Monitor declaration status and liaise with shippers, customers, forwarding agents, and the customs system to resolve declaration‑related issues promptly.


• Investigate and resolve declaration discrepancies or exceptions by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.


• Maintain accurate documentation and records of customs declarations for audit and compliance purposes.


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as assigned by the Team Lead.


• Ensure compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations, company SOPs, and customer requirements.


• Support the team in achieving operational KPIs, service quality, and compliance standards.


• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Management from time to time.

• Familiar with Dagang Net, and Malaysia Customs procedures.


• Good understanding of import/export documentation, tariff codes, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.


• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with customers, forwarding agents, shipping lines, and customs authorities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
