Job summary

Vega Instruments Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a sales-oriented professional based in Penang to manage customer relationships across Penang, Perak, Perlis and Kedah. You will identify new opportunities, perform customer visits and trainings, and ensure timely follow-ups and after-sales support while staying current on company offerings.

The role involves traveling, international trainings, and shaping the company's presence in Malaysia with strong market insight and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in process instrumentation and/or process automation preferred.
• Possess extensive and accurate knowledge of company products and services.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Willing to investigate the wishes and needs of the customer, and act accordingly within organizational goals.
• Great willingness to learn to constantly deepen knowledge.
• Understanding of consumer behaviors and awareness of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Be based in Penang and cover sales territories of Penang, Perak, Perlis and Kedah.
• Build new customer relationships and manage existing customers.
• Conduct customer visits and training.
• Collect and analyze data to gain insights into consumer behavior and market trends.
• Identify and target new sales opportunities through networking and other methods.
• Shape presence in Malaysia as a whole.
• Identify industry trends and incorporate them into strategy.
• Stay updated on company products and services to provide accurate information to clients.
• Check if response times for follow-up offers, sales actions, after-sales and reporting are met.
• Travel and attend international trainings.
