Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth across Process and Factory Automation within Penang, Kedah, Ipoh, Johor, and Melaka territories. You will identify opportunities, manage key accounts, and deliver tailored automation solutions with our engineering teams.

The role requires a 3+ year track record in industrial automation sales, strong technical knowledge, and ability to travel across the regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of sales or application engineering in industrial automation.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation, process control, instrumentation.
Proven track record in managing accounts and achieving sales targets.
Willingness to travel across Penang, Kedah, Ipoh, Johor and Melaka territories.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed sales targets for Process Automation and Factory Automation in the assigned territories (Penang, Kedah, Ipoh, Johor, Melaka).
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, including cross-selling across divisions.
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with regional objectives.
Manage and grow key customer accounts by building long-term relationships with decision-makers.
Provide technical proposals, quotations, and product presentations; coordinate with engineering teams for feasible solutions.
Engage with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and end-users to expand market presence.
