Job summary

Portway Technology Sdn Bhd, a distributor of industrial automation products, is seeking a results-driven field sales professional to develop new customers and manage a sales territory in Malaysia. The role requires visiting factories, meeting engineers and purchasing teams, and achieving sales targets.

You will travel extensively within Northern or Southern Malaysia, possess own vehicle, and work independently with strong follow-up skills; base salary plus commission and allowances.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills.
• Willing to travel extensively within Northern or Southern Malaysia.
• Possess own vehicle and valid driving license.
• Able to work independently and manage sales territory effectively.
• Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new industrial customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits, factory visits and sales calls.
• Identify automation projects and potential business opportunities.
• Present products and solutions to customers.
• Prepare quotations and follow up until sales closure.
• Maintain and expand existing customer accounts.
• Meet assigned sales targets.
• Provide market feedback and identify new business opportunities.
