• Relevant experience in industrial automation, electrical or mechanical engineering is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Automation, or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic business software to prepare proposals and reports.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required and work in a team-oriented environment.

Role Description

The Tender/Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, reviewing tender documents, and ensuring that solutions meet customer specifications and industry standards. The role includes conducting site visits, gathering technical information, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams to design suitable automation solutions and cost estimates. The Tender/Sales Engineer will engage with customers to understand requirements, present solutions, follow up on quotations, and assist in contract negotiations. Daily activities also involve maintaining sales records, supporting after-sales inquiries, and contributing to sales forecasts and market analysis.
