Job summary

Alirantenaga in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to handle client enquiries, prepare technical proposals, and grow business opportunities for our automation and machinery solutions across Malaysia. You will combine technical insight with sales instincts to win new projects.

You will build strong relationships with customers and consultants, travel as needed, and collaborate with engineering teams to tailor proposals.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Master in engineering field.
• 2–3 years of technical sales experience in automation or construction.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• English fluent; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle client enquiries and provide technical product information.
• Prepare technical and engineering proposals for automation and machinery projects.
• Build and maintain customer and consultant relationships.

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or relevant field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in technical sales, automation or construction industry with entrepreneurial passion
• Good communication skills, able to engage confidently with clients and consultants
• Fluent in English; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage
• Enjoy working both independently and in a team environment
