Job summary

You will identify customer needs, respond with engineering information, plan territory sales calls, and deliver strategic plans while collaborating with the team; occasional travel across Penang, Kedah and Perlis may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of sales experience.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain products and engineering information clearly.
• Customer-focused communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to plan sales activities and manage assigned territories.
• Ability to analyze sales information and maintain CRM records.
• Willingness to travel across Penang, Kedah and Perlis as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future customer requirements by building relationships with potential and existing customers and understanding their technical needs.
• Provide technical and engineering information by responding to customer questions and requests.
• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organising sales call schedules.
• Prepare strategic sales plans for assigned territories.
• Gain customer acceptance by explaining and demonstrating equipment in a professional and technically effective manner.
• Follow up on payments for open-term invoices.
• Prepare sales activity reports by collecting, analysing and summarising sales information and application trends.
• Maintain accurate customer information and communication activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the wider team and complete related activities as required.
