Job summary

DKSH in Malaysia seeks a Senior Specialist, Technical Sales – Scientific Instrumentation to expand our footprint in the Technology unit. You will drive growth through acquiring new customers, managing strategic relationships, and leveraging market intelligence to align with DKSH's broader objectives.

You will identify opportunities, lead engagements, and coordinate tender submissions while pursuing annual sales targets and sustaining revenue across accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of sales experience in analytical chemistry, life science or material science industries.
• Proven ability to acquire new customers and manage commercial relationships.
• Strong capability to gather, interpret and communicate market intelligence.
• Experience supporting or coordinating tender preparation and submission.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture market opportunities to grow the presence in scientific instrumentation.
• Acquire new customers and generate leads through targeted prospecting and engagement.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers to support long-term revenue retention.
• Develop new business by sourcing accounts and opportunities within current base.
• Own execution of orders through to payment collection.
• Provide actionable market insights to management for strategy guidance.
• Coordinate tender preparation and submission with accuracy and timeliness.
• Plan to achieve annual personal sales targets aligned with company strategy.
• Monitor competitor pricing and activity to inform market positioning.
• Organize customer events, seminars, and technical workshops to deepen relationships.
