Job summary

Vertex Services in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to own end-to-end recruitment for technical and manufacturing roles. You will source, screen, and extend offers while partnering with hiring managers to keep processes moving smoothly.

Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred, along with knowledge of Malaysian HR fundamentals and HR administration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruitment experience in-house or via staffing agencies.
• Experience managing full-cycle hiring across multiple domains.
• Knowledge of Malaysian HR fundamentals (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Employment Act basics).
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment from end-to-end: intake, sourcing, interviews, offers.
• Manage hiring channels including JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, agencies, campus partners.
• Source and engage candidates for technical and operational roles.
• Conduct first-round interviews and technical screening.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and track progress.
• Maintain a structured candidate pipeline and recruitment metrics.

Talent Acquisition

• Own recruitment from end-to-end, from role intake and sourcing through interviews and offers.
• Manage hiring channels including JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, agencies and campus partners
• Proactively source and engage candidates for technical and operational positions.
• Conduct first-round interviews and structured technical screening using assessment rubrics co-created with our technical leads.
• Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and ensure the hiring process keeps moving.
• Maintain an organised candidate pipeline and track key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill and pipeline effectiveness.

HR Operations & Administration

• Manage new-joiner onboarding and support employee offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
• Support day-to-day HR administration
• Ensure HR policies, templates, and processes are organised and up-to-date.
