Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, ensuring accurate inventory postings and efficient inbound/outbound processes. You will lead a team, implement 5S standards, use Warehouse Management Systems, and coach staff on SOPs and KPI performance.

This role requires 3-5 years of supervisory warehouse experience and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Analyse workflow and monitor FIFO implementation.

Job description

1.Record and monitor former movements in/out of the store to maintain accurate inventory postings.

2. Update stock status, labels, and locations using the Former Inventory System.

3. Train new staff on proper former handling, preservation, and SOP compliance.

4. Coordinate all former activities from receiving to storing, ensuring correct storage and labeling.

5. Identify and replace damaged or problematic formers and prepare stock for daily former changes.

6. Conduct random and monthly stock counts, verify quantities, and report updates to supervisors.

7. Analyse workflow, provide improvement feedback, and monitor FIFO implementation.

8. Maintain workplace cleanliness, 5S standards, visual management, and safety conditions.

9. Assist in staff appraisals and performance evaluations, including KPIs and competencies.

10. Oversee overall store operations, support inbound processes, and perform additional tasks as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma preferred; SPM with relevant warehouse supervisory experience of 5+ years may be considered.

Minimum 3-4 years of warehouse experience and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Knowledge of standard warehouse operations, stock receipt, storage, requisition, disbursement, and associated equipment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, supervise teams, and maintain employee development and training programs.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiar with WMS tools, and capable of maintaining inventory control, records, and reports.

Ability to prioritize workload, analyse inventory, monitor team performance, schedule tasks, and uphold workplace safety and 5S standards.
