Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supervisor - Quality Assurance Plant (Preshipment) in Malaysia. The role focuses on planning pre-shipment inspections, calibrating equipment, and ensuring glove quality through testing and packing verification, with emphasis on accurate data recording and report preparation.

The successful candidate will manage PSI activities, supervise staff, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure samples and products are ready for release or external inspection.

Qualifications

• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
• Shift work availability is required.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in quality assurance.
• Minimum SPM; Diploma in Science/Engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate pre-shipment inspections, including sampling and shift planning.
• Monitor calibration of measuring equipment and update inspection systems.
• Execute and verify watertight, visual, dimension, packing quantity, and tests of gloves.
• Prepare test pieces for physical property testing with QA support.
• Record inspection data and prepare final reports with daily status updates.
• Maintain AGRR & GRR records for inspectors.
• Coordinate with QAI, Lab, Packing, Shipping, Production, Warehouse and Sales to support releases and external inspections.

Job description

Supervisor - Quality Assurance Plant (Preshipment)

Plan and coordinate pre-shipment inspections (internal, external, and marketing sample requisitions), including online sampling and shift-based planning.

Monitor calibration of measuring equipment and update inspection-related systems (SCM Tracker, e-SR, D365, CMMS).

Execute and verify watertight, visual, dimension, packing quantity, and tests of gloves.

Prepare and manage test pieces for physical property testing with QA support.

Record inspection data, prepare final reports, and ensure accurate daily updates on inspection status.

Maintain AGRR & GRR records for inspectors.

Receive and inspect packaging materials, monitor quality, and resolve packaging-related complaints.

Manage PSI replacement activities, including packaging and glove inventory.

Provide training, arrange manpower, monitor attendance and hygiene, and oversee subordinates’ performance.

Coordinate with other departments (QAI, Lab, Packing, Shipping, Production, Warehouse, Sales) to support inspections and ensure customer samples and products are ready for release or external inspection.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM (Certificate / Diploma in Science/ Engineering will be advantage) or relevant.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in quality assurance.

Good Communication Skills in both verbal and written, clear and easy to understand and include listening skills. (Both English and Bahasa Malaysia).
