About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor/Service Crew to join our team at our Bandar Sunway location in Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence. As a Supervisor/Service Crew, you will be responsible for both delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the supervision of service operations. Your ability to lead by example, manage guest interactions professionally, and ensure smooth daily operations will be instrumental in contributing to the success of our establishment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff
• Deliver orders to tables with professionalism and attention to detail
• Supervise and guide service crew members, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies
• Monitor restaurant floor operations and address any service issues or guest concerns in a professional manner
• Assist in training new service staff on menu knowledge, service procedures and customer service best practices
• Ensure all dining areas are kept clean, organised and welcoming throughout service periods
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and process payments with integrity
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour at all times, representing the cafe brand positively
• Liaise between guests and kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time
• Support inventory management and assist with restocking service areas as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a hospitality, food service or café environment, with at least 1-2 years in a similar role
• Demonstrated supervisory or lead experience, or readiness to take on supervisory responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
• Strong customer service orientation with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed
• A positive attitude, patience and the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
• Preferred: Certification in food safety or hospitality service (an advantage but not essential)
