Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Specification Specialist to build strong relationships with developers and architects and to develop proprietary specifications for access solutions. You will identify design-stage opportunities and hand them to the sales team to maximise revenue, while maintaining CRM records for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

Sales/specification experience in building materials or architectural products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with developers and architects; act as the design specifications contact for systems.
Develop and increase project pipelines and business opportunities.
Identify design-stage projects and hand them to the sales team at the right time to convert revenue.
Maintain CRM system according to procedures.
Provide technical solutions and value-engineering proposals for project requirements.
Promote product range to developers, architects and consultants; conduct presentations and trainings.
Support sales personnel in client meetings on specification matters.
Provide market intelligence on competitors and market direction.
