Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Malaysia seeks a sales/specification professional to develop proprietary specifications for systems by building strong relationships with developers and architects. Qualifications

• Preferably to have sales/specification experience in building materials / architectural products / doors & hardware / security solutions / M&E / construction products / project sales.
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to present confidently to an individual or wide variety of audiences/groups
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications & tender documents

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with developers and architects; be the key contact for design enquiries and escalations to develop proprietary specifications for systems
• Develop and increase project pipelines and business opportunities
• Identify projects during the design stage and hand them over to sales at the right time to convert into revenue
• Maintain CRM system in line with procedures
• Provide technical solutions and value-engineering proposals to support project requirements
• Promote product range to developers, architects and consultants
• Conduct presentations and trainings
• Support sales personnel in meetings with clients on specification matters
• Provide market intelligence on competitors and market directions
