Job summary

Acotec Sdn Bhd, a member of the OSK Group, is hiring a dynamic Manager, Sales & Marketing to drive growth and support strategic sales and marketing initiatives. You will identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships, and promote technical IBS and precast wall solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Marketing with 5–7 years in sales/marketing, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia skills. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in IBS/building materials.
• Strong network within the construction industry will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Own transport and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and achieve business targets in line with the sales strategies established by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, contractors, consultants, architects, and government agencies.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand Acotec's market presence and customer base.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and technical solutions tailored to clients' project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, coordinate, and support marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, trade shows, industry events, and promotional campaigns.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities.
• Monitor sales pipelines, prepare sales forecasts, and provide insights and recommendations to support business growth.
• Manage project follow-ups effectively from initial inquiry through quotation, negotiation, and project award stages.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales team members when required.
