Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, technical support, project coordination, or related fields.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, structural systems and IBS methodologies.
• Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading, managing, and supervising the technical and installation teams.
• Provide technical support to the Sales & Marketing team, including product presentations, demonstrations, and responding to technical enquiries from clients.
• Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to ensure proper planning, scheduling, and application of products.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related issues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct technical training for installers and continuously improve installation methods and best practices.
• Attend consultant, contractor, and site technical meetings as required.
• Investigate technical complaints raised by customers and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Support product development initiatives and provide recommendations for product and system improvements.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance installation methods, tools, and material utilisation on site.
• Recommend improvements and modifications to designs and construction techniques to enhance efficiency and performance.

Job description

This role will be hired under OSK Group member company named Acotec Sdn Bhd. The Technical Support Executive will provide technical expertise, project coordination, and site support to ensure the successful application and installation of Acotec's wall systems.

Key responsibilities

Assist in leading, managing, and supervising the technical and installation teams.

Provide technical support to the Sales & Marketing team, including product presentations, demonstrations, and responding to technical enquiries from clients.

About you

Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in construction, technical support, project coordination, or related fields.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Strong understanding of construction processes, structural systems, and Industrialised Building System (IBS) methodologies.

Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
