Job summary

Waftech Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities, and to build strong relationships with customers while supporting engineering teams.

You will conduct customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations, understand requirements, coordinate with internal teams, prepare quotes, and follow up on enquiries and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in business, marketing, engineering or related discipline.
• Sales, BD or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
• Candidates without semiconductor experience welcome.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel for customer visits when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, projects and sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams to support customer requirements.
• Prepare sales reports, quotations and proposals.
• Participate in exhibitions, customer events and business development activities.
• Monitor market trends and identify new sales opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
