Job summary

Hightech Polymer Sdn. Bhd. seeks dynamic Sales Executives / Sales Engineers to join our Butterworth, Penang team.

The role focuses on selling engineering plastics, specialty chemicals, and semiconductor-related products to develop new business and nurture existing clients. Candidates should have 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial products or chemicals, and be fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, or Business.
• 1–3 years of sales experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Mandarin for effective client communication.
• Own transport with a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling engineering plastics, specialty chemicals, or semiconductor-related products, with a strong passion for business development and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with both new and existing clients
• Promote and sell company products (plastics, chemicals, semiconductor-related materials)
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up on sales opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Logistics, Technical) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth in Malaysia
• Provide feedback and market insights to management for strategy development

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, or Business
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred (industrial products / chemicals / semiconductor industries); fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (oral & written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and willing to travel
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
