Job summary

Synergy Alliance in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Technical Sales Consultant to drive adoption of our POS software. You will blend technical installation and proactive sales to merchants in retail and hospitality.

You will install and configure POS on-site, troubleshoot, build relationships, generate leads, deliver product demonstrations, and close deals. The role requires strong communication and a proactive, customer-centric approach, with regular reporting to your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new merchants with on-site installation and system configuration.
• Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve merchant issues, online and on-site, minimizing disruption.
• Data Collection and Escalation: Gather issue-related data and escalate to IT for effective resolution.
• Product and Technical Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of POS features and integrations.
• Account Management & Retention: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing merchants to ensure retention.
• Prospecting and Outbound Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new retail/hospitality clients; generate leads via various channels.
• Client Engagement: Understand client needs, articulate POS value, and align solutions.
• Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Deliver persuasive product demos and presentations.
• Deal Closure: Negotiate, overcome objections, and close deals end-to-end.
• Sales Target Attainment: Achieve targets updated monthly/quarterly by supervisor.
• Customer Feedback Collection: Collect feedback via Google Reviews and other platforms.
• Positive Attitude and Resilience: Maintain a positive, resilient attitude.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritize client needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Adaptability: Adapt to market conditions and client needs.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends and technologies.
