Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager (Mid-Market) in Malaysia to lead relationships with strategic telecom clients and drive revenue growth. You will be the primary contact, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.

You will collaborate with sales, technical, and support teams to tailor solutions, onboard new logos, and monitor account performance while staying abreast of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred in Business/Communications.
• Proven account management experience in telecom or tech industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with telecom clients.
• Understand client needs and tailor telecom solutions to meet business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, customer support) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor account performance and proactively address issues or concerns.
• Stay updated on telecom industry trends, products, and competitive landscape.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts and support new business development.
• Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and client feedback.
