Qualifications

• Strong understanding of logistics operations and tendering processes, including contract management and negotiations.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or tendering within the logistics/supply chain industry.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans focused on tendering for logistics projects.
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
• Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including proposal development, contract management, and negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to support long-term business growth.
• Develop and present compelling business proposals and value propositions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to structure competitive and commercially sound bids.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities.
• Support the management of large-scale logistics projects and complex supply chain solutions during and after the bidding process.
• Track and report on business development pipeline, win rates, and revenue targets.
