• Proven track record of success in business development within logistics
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and tendering processes
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with ability to analyze market data and develop insights
• Experience managing large-scale logistics projects and complex supply chain solutions is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans focused on tendering for logistics projects
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers
• Manage end-to-end tender process including bid preparation, submission, negotiation, and contract award
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of tendered projects
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client requirements and project specs
• Achieve sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
