Job summary

DP World in Malaysia seeks an experienced Contract Logistics Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Johor and Singapore markets. You will acquire new customers, nurture existing relationships, and design tailored logistics solutions.

You will travel regularly to Singapore and within Johor to meet clients, present proposals, negotiate contracts, and drive sustainable revenue growth in contract logistics.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sales and business development experience in logistics, supply chain, contract logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of Johor and Singapore markets and local business opportunities.
• Solid knowledge of contract logistics services including warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, with client/vendor interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets for contract logistics in Johor and Singapore.
• Develop and expand market presence, identifying opportunities and partnerships.
• Acquire new customers through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and campaigns.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Design tailored logistics solutions across warehousing, distribution, and transport.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
