Job summary

CJ Century Logistics Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify and secure profitable new business, aligning with sales targets and KPIs. • Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business that is profitable to meet the department's sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals.
• Manage and handle new RFQ requests and ensuring that the RFQs' are responded and followed through in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain close business relationships and rapport with customers and potential customers.
• Negotiate for contracts and coordinate all related activities to ensure completion of projects.
• Undertake cross selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products and contract logistics.
• Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
