Job summary

CJ Century Logistics Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to identify and secure profitable new business, align with sales targets and KPIs, and build strong relationships with customers and prospects. Responsibilities

Business Development Executive (Female Preferred)

This role involves identifying, developing and securing new business that is profitable to meet the department's sales targets and key performance indicators. You will develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals, manage RFQ requests, and develop close business relationships with customers and potential customers.

Key responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business that is profitable to meet the department's sales targets and key performance indicators

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals

Manage and handle new RFQ requests and ensure they are responded to and followed through in a timely manner

Develop and maintain close business relationships and rapport with customers and potential customers

Maintain close working relationships with divisions and departments within the group

Negotiate for contracts and coordinate all related activities to ensure the completion of these projects

Undertake cross selling within existing customer base to develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products and contract logistics

Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present the company and its products and services

Manage and plan projects through working with various departments in resource allocation, scheduling, project accounting and control, safety and compliance control and quality standards

About you

Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline

Minimum 1-3 years in logistics, supply chain management or FMCG environment

Good track record in securing and developing key customer accounts

Good hunter with relevant established network and clientele

High level of customer service ability

Good planning, problem-solving, collaboration, decision making, and organization skills
