Job summary

Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of Distributor Area Executives across all product lines (Open Channel). You will build strong relationships with dealers and drive growth within the Maxis ecosystem.

The role focuses on distributor efficiency, dealer development, and expanding points of distribution while maintaining stock levels and training dealers in product knowledge and IT systems. You will design campaigns and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
• 5–6 years of work experience with 2–4 years in a similar industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Good research, analytical, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for distributor efficiency and dealer development.
• Expand distribution points and maintain healthy trade buffer stock.
• Train and develop dealers in product knowledge, selling skills, and IT systems.
• Design and implement effective sales campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with trade visitation cycles.
• Submit management reports in a timely manner.
• Plan and prioritize network expansion.
