Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad stores and distributes goods for the KPJ Ampang Puteri facility. The role focuses on receiving, storing and issuing purchased items, maintaining orderly records, and performing regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and availability of supplies.

  • Participate in quality accreditation activities (e.g. JCI, MSQH, 5S).
  • Adhere to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 where applicable.
  • Respect patients and family rights and ensure patient safety goals are met.
  • Collaborate with leaders, clinicians, staff, visitors and patients on Planetree principles.

Job description

The store clerk shall be responsible for the security and the day-to-day storekeeping operations of the purchasing store of KPJ Ampang Puteri, which include receipt and supply of item purchase.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1.To receive all purchased goods.
  • 2.To store all goods purchase.
  • 3.To file store documents in a systematic manner.
  • 4.To perform the stock taking as required.
  • 5.To issue and supply the goods purchased.
  • 6.To take care of the security in all stocks kept in the store.
  • 7.To carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:-
    • To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;
    • To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
    • To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer;
    • To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
  • 8.Ensure to actively participate in all quality accreditation activities (e.g. JCI, MSQH, 5S – where applicable).
  • 9.Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 are adhered to and records maintained, if and when programs are implemented.
  • 10.Ensure the policies on patients and family’s right are addressed at all times.
  • 11.Ensure compliance to Patient Safety Goals as safety improvement measure recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008).
  • 12.Ensure adherence to Standard People Practice (SPP).
  • 13.Work collaboratively with leaders, clinicians, staff, visitors and patients in the development and promotion of Planetree behaviors, environment and patient care solutions.
