Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing/Finance professional to help maintain the group purchasing policy. You will evaluate contracts, monitor orders, review quality, maintain records, and ensure stock levels.

The role requires a Diploma, at least 2 years in Purchasing/Finance, familiarity with supply chain, and strong communication. You will collaborate across functions to uphold data integrity and support efficient operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes
• To track orders and ensure timely delivery
• To review quality of purchased products
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in area under his/her care.
• Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:

• Diploma in Business Administration / Management / Finance or equivalent

Knowledge and Experiences:

• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Finance
• Familiarity with supply chain
• Experience in food and beverages industry will be an extra advantage
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintains the integrity and quality of both computerized and manual data

Personal attributes

• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills with positive attitude to work
• Able to work on own initiatives, prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Good timekeeping but prepared to be flexible
