UOA Hospitality in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and efficient service in our hotel back-of-house areas.

You will lead the stewarding team, coordinate shifts, monitor equipment, and ensure compliance with food safety and safety regulations, contributing to guest satisfaction and smooth event support.

Competenze

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in stewarding or kitchen operations, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling.
• Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Mansioni

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
• Monitor the proper operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines and other stewarding equipment.
• Ensure all kitchen and back-of-house areas are maintained in accordance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assign duties, monitor attendance, and prepare work schedules for stewarding associates.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor the usage and stock levels of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance issues, and operational concerns to the relevant department.
• Train, guide, and motivate stewarding associates to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in coordinating stewarding support for events, banquets, and special functions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Steward or Management.
