Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chief Steward to lead the Stewarding Department and ensure clean, well-organised back-of-house operations across kitchens, outlets and banquets. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene, safety (HACCP) compliance, managing cost efficiency and supporting guest satisfaction through excellent stewarding services in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualificações

• Ideal candidate holds a hospitality qualification (degree/diploma or apprenticeship).
• Minimum 2 years’ Chief Steward experience in a hotel, preferably international.
• Experience with kitchen operating equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of hotel and food & beverage safety regulations (HACCP) is essential.
• Good computer and report writing skills.
• Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident status due to work-permit rules.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the Stewarding Department ensuring efficient, cost-conscious operations.
• Maintain an organized and clean back-of-house area; provide kitchens, outlets and banquets with clean equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt International's standards and safety regulations while meeting staff and guest expectations.
