Job summary

Atomic Recruitment SEA is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its Selangor, Malaysia base to drive sales of industrial equipment and solutions. You will translate customer needs into practical technical proposals, support order execution and build strong, long-term relationships across industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, has 3–5 years of sales experience in related industries, and demonstrates fluent English with Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mech, Elec or related)
• 3–5 years of sales experience in industrial equipment/capital equipment
• Experience with compressed air systems, industrial utilities, pumps, blowers, HVAC or chillers is a plus
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and develop new business
• Strong English communication; Mandarin/Chinese is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by promoting industrial equipment and solutions in the assigned market/territory
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads and convert prospects into sales
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, new accounts and key stakeholders
• Understand customer applications to recommend appropriate equipment and solutions
• Prepare quotations, deliver product presentations, negotiate terms and close orders
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Coordinate with internal technical, service and operations teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports
• Support promotional activities to strengthen market presence
