Job summary

Sunterra Energy Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Business Development Executive / Engineer to pursue solar opportunities across residential, commercial and industrial markets. You will engage owners and decision-makers, assess feasibility through site visits, and coordinate with the technical team on PV and storage solutions.

You will manage the full sales cycle from lead to close, prepare quotations, and build relationships to support project delivery and revenue growth.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Technology, Business, Marketing or a related field.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, target-oriented and willing to take ownership of results.
Willingness to travel within Northern Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential customers across residential, commercial and industrial markets to develop new business opportunities.
Conduct market research, prospecting and networking to grow the sales pipeline and expand market presence.
Build and maintain relationships with business owners, decision-makers, customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
Understand customers' electricity consumption, business operations and energy-saving objectives to identify suitable energy solutions.
Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess project feasibility and customer requirements.
