Job summary

Northern Solar Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Sales / Business Development professional to grow our Johor market across residential, micro, commercial and industrial segments. You will manage existing customers and pursue new leads, providing tailored quotations and solutions to meet client requirements.

The role requires travel within Johor, strong communication in English, and ideally Mandarin, with a focus on relationship-building and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years sales or business development experience.
• Experience in Solar Energy industry would be an added advantage.
• Sales-driven personality with strong communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Good communication in English and Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue potential leads in Johor markets for residential, micro, commercial and industrial clients.
• Handle current and new customers in the allocated territory and respond to inquiries with information about products and services.
• Propose solutions with quotations based on customer requirements.
• Plan and execute sales activities to achieve personal targets.
• Address customer complaints and protect the company’s interests in sales relations.
• Collaborate with Design & Project teams and other internal stakeholders to fulfill customer needs.
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
• Represent the company to external communities as a product and service spokesperson.
