Job summary

Maybank is seeking an SME Relationship Manager to source new SME customers and grow the SME Banking portfolio. The role emphasizes active campaign participation to promote SME products and to build strong rapport with customers, branches and stakeholders.

You will perform KYC and due diligence on market and credit analyses to ensure high asset quality and timely loan processing. Regular customer visits will strengthen relationships with local communities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing for new SME customers under SME segment.
• Grow the SME portfolio in SME Banking.
• Active participation in campaign activities to promote SME products and build rapport with customers, branches and stakeholders.
• Conduct Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and due diligence on market and credit analysis to maintain asset quality.
• Ensure quality processing of loan applications within stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Foster positive relationships with customers and initiate regular customer visitation to strengthen rapport.
• Develop relationships with local communities within the business areas.
