Site Supervisor (Sanitary & Plumbing Works)
We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Junior Site Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Supervisors to learn the ropes of site management, safety protocols, and daily project operations.
This is a construction site coordination role supporting daily activities, worker supervision, and site management. You will assist in monitoring construction progress, overseeing workers and subcontractors, conducting quality checks, and ensuring health and safety compliance on site.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and coordinating daily construction activities and worker deployment at the project site
- Help oversee general workers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and correctly
- Assist in performing basic quality checks on daily workmanship before final inspections by senior staff
- Ensure that basic health and safety regulations (DOSH/OSHA) are strictly followed, including the use of helmets, vests, and safety boots
- Help conduct brief morning meetings (Toolbox Talks) to brief workers on the day's tasks and safety reminders
- Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing construction materials delivered to the site to prevent damage or wastage
- Keep track of site machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are used properly and safely stored at the end of the day
- Ensure the site remains clean, organized, and free of physical hazards or debris
- Monitor and record daily worker attendance, overtime, and machinery usage on site
- Prepare simple daily site progress reports, update site logbooks, and take daily progress photos
About you
- Minimum SPM, ABM (Akademi Binaan Malaysia) Certificate, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply (0-1 year of experience)
- Basic understanding of construction processes
- Ability to read basic drawing plans is a plus but not strictly required
- Willing to learn, punctual, responsible, and comfortable working in an outdoor construction site environment
- Must possess own transport (motorcycle or car) to travel to the site
- Flexible and able to work late, extended hours, or occasional weekends when required to meet tight project deadlines
