Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction operations on projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and to high standards while coordinating with project managers and clients.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Building/Civil Engineering, strong leadership and the ability to read plans and specifications. On-site supervision with a focus on quality control is essential.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team, a leading industrial development and construction company based in Kuala Lumpur. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction workers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Monitoring progress on site and addressing any issues or delays in a timely manner

Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Communicating effectively with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns

Assisting in the planning and scheduling of construction activities

Identifying and addressing training needs for the construction team

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

Diploma/Degree in Building/Civil Engineering.

Significant experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role, preferably in the industrial building/warehouse construction.

Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials and safety practices

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints and specifications

Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and quality control standards

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on site
