Job summary

SETIA ALAM GLASS HOUSE SDN BHD is recruiting a site supervisor in Shah Alam, Malaysia to oversee daily construction activities and ensure on-time project delivery.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage material and equipment deliveries, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulations, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Candidate should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site to ensure smooth progress and timely completion
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures and work instructions
• Ensure work quality, site safety and compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate the delivery of materials, machinery and equipment to the site
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to the Project Manager
• Monitor project progress and report any site issues or delays to the immediate superior
• Conduct regular meetings with workers and subcontractors to ensure project schedules and targets are achieved
• Attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and relevant parties

About you

Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Willing to work at project sites and travel when required
