About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join KIHUAT SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Kajang, Selangor. As Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This position is essential to the successful delivery of our construction projects and directly impacts client satisfaction and company reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all construction activities on site to ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality specifications
• Manage and supervise site personnel, including labourers, tradespeople, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and team productivity
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain comprehensive documentation of progress, incidents, and any issues that arise
• Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols across all site operations to maintain a safe working environment
• Monitor material and equipment usage, coordinate deliveries, and manage site logistics to minimise delays and wastage
• Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and resolve any on-site concerns
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation for compliance and audit purposes
• Identify and address potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and quality defects
• Train and mentor site personnel on safety procedures, best practices, and company standards
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, codes, and contractual obligations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance standards
• Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in fast-paced construction environments
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Sound understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all stakeholders
• Valid construction safety certification (CIDB Green Card or equivalent) is essential
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field are advantageous
• Physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions
