Job summary

GRAVITY INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site operations for interior fit-out and commercial projects in Ara Damansara, Selangor.

You will lead construction teams, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold safety and efficiency standards across multiple sites. The role requires strong knowledge of construction methods, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduation or with minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the Malaysian construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Sound understanding of construction costs, budgeting and resource planning.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

About the role GRAVITY INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our construction team. This is a full-time position based in Ara Damansara, Selangor, and will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution and completion of our interior construction projects. As Site Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing construction teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for translating project plans into reality whilst ensuring all work meets our company standards and client expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including labour management, materials logistics, and equipment deployment
• Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing site safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment
• Monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets, reporting any delays or cost overruns to senior management
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring all work meets project specifications and industry standards
• Managing communication between the site team, contractors, clients and head office to ensure clarity and transparency
• Preparing daily reports, records and documentation related to site activities, workforce and resource utilisation
• Conducting toolbox talks and training sessions to maintain team competency and safety awareness
• Resolving on-site issues and conflicts promptly whilst maintaining positive team morale
• Liaising with architects, engineers and project managers to address technical queries and site challenges
• Maintaining site cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping standards throughout the project duration

What we’re looking for

• Fresh Graduation or with minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably within interior fit-out or commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the Malaysian construction industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate construction teams of varying sizes
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with proven ability to meet project deadlines
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documents
• Sound understanding of construction costs, budgeting and resource planning
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal
• Certification or qualifications in construction management, health and safety (DOSH certified or equivalent) would be advantageous
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
